The Good
- Services
- All debt types
- Money back guarantee
- Nationwide availability
- Four-step process
Services
Oxford Tax Help offers a wide range of services. The company helps clients settle tax debt, lower the balance due, resolve back taxes, stop wage garnishments, defend IRS liens and levies, negotiate with the IRS, and prevent property seizure.
All Debt Types
Tax debt can come from two different sources: the IRS or state tax authorities. Oxford Tax will work with both types of debt to find solutions for its customers.
Money Back Guarantee
If Oxford Tax Help customers are not happy with any of the services that they receive, they can get a refund for what they have paid. The company offers full refunds for customers who request within two weeks and a refund of the unused retainer thereafter.
Nationwide Availability
The services offered by Oxford Tax Help are available to customers in every state across the country.
Four-Step Process
Oxford Tax Help provides a four-step process to resolve tax debt. The process is as follows:
- Free consultations – Expert tax attorneys will contact you directly to obtain details of the situation
- Protection – Tax experts will pursue a “stay of enforcement,” which means that the IRS can’t take any money or seize any assets and provides a level of protection while the real work is being done
- Investigate and Negotiate – Experts will review all of the client’s information and figure out how to maximize savings, then negotiate with the IRS and come to an agreement that will lower payments and protect assets
- Case Closed – No more tax worries and complete financial freedom
The Bad
- Minimum debt requirement
- Lack of information
Minimum Debt Requirement
Oxford Tax Help requires its customers to have at least $10,000 in tax debt before they can use its services. This is a relatively high requirement that excludes many customers with less tax debt.
Lack of Information
A customer researching Oxford Tax Help will have trouble finding pricing information upfront without completing a consultation. Although prices typically vary from case to case, it would still be helpful if the company provided a general range on its website to give customers an idea of what to expect.
The Bottom Line
Oxford Tax Help offers several services for individuals across the nation with all types of tax debt. However, the company requires customers to have at least $10,000 in tax debt and does not disclosed pricing information on its corporate website. Completing a consultation is necessary for customers to decide whether or not Oxford Tax Help fits their needs and budget.

User Score80 people found this review helpful! It seems like I didn’t save any money, but it shows I owed IRS $12000, then I found oxford tax, and I paid them $3000, and still owed the IRS $9000. So, it seems kind of odd, honestly. Most tax relief companies stop you from paying to the IRS.Was this review helpful? Yes

User Score00 people found this review helpful!i paid for services to represent me for a year. i have called countless times and texted. Noah who suggested he was the owner and a noble would represent me. Needless, to say after reading other reviews, this business is a scam. i have lost out on my retainer and also any tax relief. The debt is now accruing interest from the IRS and I have no representation. STAY AWAY FEOM THIS COMPANY.Was this review helpful? Yes

User Score20 people found this review helpful! If I could rate lower than 1 star I would, I was told I would have my tax Unfiled taxes concolidated and I’d pay a fraction on what I owe… I paid them 3k for Oxford services and all they did was do my taxes like any other tax service would do. They didn’t save me any money at all or negotiate anything with the IRS like they promised.. highly not recommendedWas this review helpful? Yes

User Score10 people found this review helpful!I paid Oxford $6,500 over a period of 8 months. They promised to lower or eliminate my tax debt of over $25,000. They did NEITHER. After consultation and giving them all of my finance information, I received a letter from the IRS telling me that my debt was the same (actually higher because of interest) and then the IRS issued a Tax Lien to the county. So, I pretty much paid them $6,500 to prepare two years of federal and state taxes. Do NOT contract with this company! Was this review helpful? Yes
