Nationwide Tax Group is a full service tax resolution firm licensed to extend services across the nation, although we have reason to believe they are no longer in business. Enrolled Agents, Tax Attorney’s, and CPA’s bring clients decades of combined experience to help reduce or eliminate individual and business owner tax debt.
Nationwide Tax Group is open 14 hours a day allowing busy clients to make contact with their team of representatives during hours most convenient for them. Free consultations are also extended during these hours where a tax resolution specialist will shine light onto each tax burden and offer the most suitable solution to resolved unwanted tax debt. Consultations are thorough and may require about half hour to fully assess the financial burden of each potential client.
NTG offers an extensive list of services to meet the needs of several tax issues such as levies, settlements, and Offers in Compromise. They work with each client to get back taxes filed and reduce tax debt through their product offering.
They claim to be transparent and honest with their clients. In fact, it seems throughout their website they continually boast about their honest, upfront, and client service-oriented approach. We found they were pretty open with their pricing structure, whereas several companies in this industry have refused to communicate how their pricing is established and how it’s broken down until it’s time to sign the contract. NTG requires half of the fee upfront to retain services and to ensure funding is available to immediately begin working on cases.
Detailed descriptions of staff members are highlighted on the company website allowing consumers to get a feel of who they may be teamed up with if they decide to enroll with Nationwide Tax Group.
Highlights to consider with Nationwide Tax Group include:

One of our major concerns with Nationwide Tax Group, and will certainly make consumers feel uneasy about giving them a call, is their poor rating with the BBB. The Better Business Bureau gave the company an ‘F’ because they have a habit of refusing to respond to complaints. This takes merit from their boasts about honesty, integrity, and working in the best interest of the client.
A company should never solely be judged on a website; however Nationwide Tax group has some coding errors taking merit from their credibility as business. Collectively, the website appears as though it was thrown together and completely lacks organization making it hard to decipher who they are and what they are all about. This is another attribute that will certainly cause anyone to feel a little uneasy about hiring the company.
Several companies in this industry do well to provide additional resources and educational materials for consumer and clients to fill up on. This company does nothing to promote financial literacy, and although they have some social media presence, sites have not been updated since 2012 – that’s 3 years of social media neglect. Two consumer reviews have recently been left on their Facebook page, both within the past month, and both rating their company with one star. One consumer complained that no one returns calls or emails.
On the matter of phone calls and emails, we, too, have yet to hear from the company’s representatives. During our research we found the company has an unresponsive (or “busy” tone) number. This may suggest the company is out of business, although due to the fact that we couldn’t reach them, we can’t confirm this.
$1,500 for an installment agreement, and $1,500 for Offer in Compromise for a tax debt $20,000.
